What is the difference between Niimbot thermal label printers and thermal transfer label printers?👯
- Difference in printing technology:
The thermal direct label printer does not require ribbons or ink. It prints the desired pattern by heating the printhead, which then comes into contact with the chemically treated thermal media label. The thermal transfer label printer, on the other hand, heats the printhead to transfer ink from the ribbon onto the label material to print the desired pattern.
- Difference in label printing:
The thermal direct label printer produces prints that last 1-2 years, with the specific duration affected by environmental conditions. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight may cause fading. It is suitable for indoor home or office use. The thermal transfer label printer produces prints that can last up to 10 years, with the specific duration also influenced by environmental factors. It is suitable for outdoor use, resistant to high temperatures, sunlight, fading, and chemical substances like alcohol.

It prints monochrome labels only. The label maker uses thermal printing technology which does not support color.
Can B21 print labels directly from a computer?
Yes, the label orinter can print labels directly from a computer by USB cable, t is only compatible with Windows 7/10, not compatible for mac system, and reguires downloading the driver from the NllMBOT official website.
Does the B21 label maker require special labels or can any thermal labels be used?
For better printing experience, please choose NlMBOT thermal labels, and the other brands thermal labels are not compatible with NlMBOT B21 label maker.

To save energy, the label maker will auto-turn off after a 15-minute pause when you don't use it. And you could also set the auto power-off (15min, 30min, 60min, never) to meet your needs.

This label maker is monochrome printout, which only prints black text.Can not print in color. If you want to print color labels, please consider M2 with different colors of ribbons.

No, this K3 label printer only supports Windows 7/10, not for MacOs and Linux, For Windows 7/10 users, they should download the NlMBOT APP for PC and driver.

Firstly press twice on/off button for the self-test page, if it could print the content correctly then just click the NllMBOT APP Lower right corner ME>My Device>Deyice Detail>Fireware Version>Update version
If the device has not been used for a long time, please fully charge it before printing. Low battery levels can result in insufficient heating, leading to unclear prints.
If the issue persists, the printhead may need cleaning. Turn off the device and clean the printhead with alcohol in a single direction.
